Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan Course on Sunday the 30th April

The course focussed on the development of 'Sensing Skills' using the principles within the Sanzhan Form, Sanzhan Catching Routine, Pushing Hands and Applications (ie self defence).

The level of interest and effort displayed from all those present was outstanding!! The time went so fast but we were able to spend nearly all that time experience different partners as we processed the Sanzhan in many different sensing situations. We were able to cater for both new and advanced students easily because the emphasis was placed on sensing the differences and working with constantly changing physical inputs from a range of partners.

We would all like to congratulate Tim and Kate for completing the London Marathon on Sunday the 23rd April, in 5 hours 9 minutes. Well done!!

The pair who have been training in our Wuchi classes for many years, were raising money for Alzheimers Research UK.

This class is on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm. See our timetable...

There will be a Chinese Boxing Grading on Saturday the 13th May 2023 from 12:30 to 3pm. Please arrive from 12:15pm for a prompt start. Spectators are limited to two per child(ren).

Please remember to check with your Instructor you ensure you are ready to grade!

Correct uniform will be required for taking part in the grading. For more information, please speak to Tracy.

The session will also be a course for those that are not quite ready to grade but would like extra training.

Saturday 27th May 2023

Come along and try a wide range of sparring events for approx 3 1/2 hours!!!!!!

Define the rules you are comfortable with and have a go at one or more of the following options (not all are listed): stand up, full-contact, semi-contact, groundwork, pushing hands, catching, sparring set routines, etc. All events focus on some level of contact and rules must be adhered to.

Book early and come along for a great afternoon of the sparring practice of your choice...

Monday 1st MAY - May Bank Holiday (KIXX closed for the day)

Monday 8th MAY - Holiday for the Coronation of King Charles III

Saturday 13th MAY - Chinese Boxing Grading for Adults and Children. All students, please check with your Instructor.
