This Wuchi Course was held in fond memory of our Grandmaster Han Jin Yuan sadly passed away on the 11th June 2023...

We had a good turn out for the course on Sunday the 7th June. It was a new experience for us to combine students in our Clubhouse with students online using Zoom (i.e. from Thailand, Taiwan and KIXX in Spain). It was very important for us to provide an equal experience for all those present. Feedback has been very positive and encouraging. The online students really enjoyed the fact that the course was 'live' not a recording. This avoided people copying incorrectly and provided clarity with ample opportunity for questions and comments. Everyone felt that they had met the course objectives and achieved a more in depth understanding. We look forward to the next one...

Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan - Chee Kim Thong UK / EUR [Han Jin Yuan]

We have deeply respected GM Hans legacy by honouring the tasks he bestowed upon us. Before his passing, he defined his vision of his club going forward by creating a structure that intended to foster unity and cooperation. To that end, following a period of mourning, the appointed Joint Chief Instructors, Richard and Nigel, organised an online meeting using Zoom software for all instructors and students interested in moving forward with GM Hans vision. It seemed appropriate and constructive to put a 'stake in the ground' and say that all negative situations that occurred prior to GM Hans passing, may be forgotten in the spirit of a unified, respectful and cooperative way forward. Some instructors and students took this opportunity to foster unity however, sadly, some did not.

To honour GM Han and continue to show his presence at World Class events, we have personally attended (and introduced new students to) all of the International Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan Friendship Meetings since 2023 ie Jakarta (2023), China (2024), Malaysia (2025) and the upcoming meeting in Manila (2026). In Malaysia 2025, Nan Shaolin Wuzquan (Chee Kim Thong) - Han Jin Yuan UK / EUR was formerly recognised as a member of Chee Kim Thong International (CKTi) with its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The task bestowed upon KIXX (Nigel) from GM Han was to work closely with Richard and to promote the sparring, applications and contact training contained within the Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan. To that end, KIXX has opened its full time facility for more than 21 sparring (all levels) sessions application and research courses since his passing in June 2023. These sessions were offered for all of us to share knowledge and physical skill to improve our sparring, catching, pushing hands, hand and weapon sparring sets, etc. We have always been keen to promote and have other Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan - Han Jin Yuan instructors along to share and clarify their methods with the bigger group.
