High Grades Xtra Training 2nd Nov

With a record turnout, this High Grade session promised to be a good one! It did not disappoint. We were able to take a close look at the higher end of the syllabus for those that are close to grading, plus, continue with the Lohan form and the Sai vs Longstick set sparring. The students are improving their understanding of range with this valuable partner practice by virtue of the 'long' stick vs the 'short' sai sparring scenario.

Remembrance Day Parade 9th Nov

We were really pleased to be joined by members of KIXX Martial Arts Club on the Remembrance Parade march through Maidstone town centre. As usual the Parade started promptly at 10:30am with an extremely long queue of people including representatives from all of the forces, local schools, scouts, guides, dignitaries, magistrates, counsellors and community clubs (i.e. KIXX Martial Arts). Following the march we all enjoyed a drink together after we observed the 2min silence at 11am.

The Team from KIXX Martial Arts Club that went to join with other members of the wider school namely Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan – Chee Kim Thong – UK/EUR [Han Jin Yuan] included the following... Nigel Gilham, Tracy Gilham, Ian Gauron, David Bailey, Andrew Cole, John Gomersall, Jonathan King (from Taiwan) and Paul Buckley (from Bangkok).
