Members of KIXX joined a 25 strong Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan UK / EUR [Han Jin Yuan] team in Quanzhou, China between the 9th to the 13th November for meetings and a competition The invitation to attend was given by the International Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan Friendship Association based in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China. The delegates from the participating countries arrived at the venue on the 9th November and met together at an evening Welcome Meal in the Overseas Hotel. The AGM and Awards meetings were carried out on the 10th November. We had some free time in the afternoon to explore Quanzhou. The competition event took place on the 11th November and began with a very large, well organised Opening Ceremony. All of the competitors from our united team under Grandmaster Han performed very well and managed to win medals.

Everyone enjoyed the visit to the Nan Shaolin Temple. There were a number of displays and demonstrations throughout the day. An amazing vegetarian buffet meal was provided for all of the guests.

The event closed on the evening of the 12th November with a Farewell Dinner where everyone was able to say good bye to old friends and new friends. Many people where deaprting the following morning...

Many thanks to those that braved the weather to represent KIXX at the Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday 10th November 2024. Sadly, we were unable to march with you all in person because we were competing in China. We would especially like to thank both Marcus and Steve for their 'stand in' leadership on the day.

Please note that these certificates are awarded to acknowledge their extra effort in a range of skills and disciplines that were exhibited during the class (eg; effort, determination, flexibility, etc. etc.)

For those that would like to come and train Kung Fu, this class is on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm (+8 yrs)...

CALENDAR DATES TO REMEMBER...

Sunday 8th DEC – High Grades Training Course from 9:45am to 12 noon. All those at a suitable level for this course will receive an invitation to attend. This will be a mixed course for adults and juniors to participate. A number of juniors are now part of the black sash club Xtra Training group.
