August 2025 Newsletter

The next high grade and Wuzuquan training session will be held on Sunday the 3rd of August from 9:45am to 12noon.

We want to clarify the grading requirements and objectives for all of the high grades but especially those that are aiming to grade in September this year.

This will also be a squad training session (with demonstrations) for some of the KIXX members of the Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan Team bound for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in November 2025.

All classes and access to the club will be as normal throughout the summer holidays with the exception of the 25th of August Bank Holiday Monday one day closure.

Please note that these certificates are awarded to acknowledge extra effort in a range of skills and disciplines exhibited during the classes (eg; effort, self-discipline, determination, flexibility, respect, focus, consideration, etc. etc.)

For those that would like to come and train Kung Fu, this class is on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm (+8 yrs)...

CALENDAR – Dates to Remember...

Sunday 3rd AUG – High Grades Xtra Training and Squad Training for Malaysia 2025 from 9:45am to 12noon.

Wednesday 13th AUG – Proposed date for the KIXX Summer Camp Training Day (TBC). Interested? Please get in touch.

Monday 25th AUG – Bank Holiday Monday closure.

Saturday 13th SEPT – Grading AND Course from 12:15 to 3pm (approx). Please see your instructor for approval to grade. Correct uniform and current sash must be worn by those that are grading.
