Wuzuquan Xtra Training Course on Sunday the 21st of July

With insufficient time in the weekly lessons to absorb and practice the vital principles held within the Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan, we decided we needed longer sessions to provide more useful and in depth revision. Hand forms, weapon forms, chi gong, partner set routines, etc, all need to be integrated, externally, internally and mindfully.

Our objective has always been to become skilful enough to apply the principles in a contact environment. Understanding the forms, deriving the objective held within the form, transferring the information to other aspects of the art are all essential to improve and expand your knowledge.

We are all looking forward to regular sessions with the same objectives.

Please note that these certificates are awarded to acknowledge their extra effort in a range of skills and disciplines that were exhibited during the class (eg; effort, determination, flexibility, etc. etc.)

For those that would like to come and train Kung Fu, this class is on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm (+8 yrs)...

Saturday 7th SEPT – Chinese Boxing Grading AND Course. Your Instructor will give you an invitation to grade, if you are ready. Correct uniform must be worn to the grading ie KIXX Shirt, plain black trousers and your sash (do not wear shorts!!!). If in doubt, please speak to Tracy for more information.

Sunday 8th SEPT – Course - We will be hosting an external Approved Emergency First Aid course from Pulse First Aid at our club on the 8th September. We shall start at 9am and finish no later than 5pm (depending on the lunch break time agreement?). We are now fully booked but if anyone would like to add their name in case someone pulls out, please get in touch for more details on 07941 340284.

9th to13th Nov 2024 – The Annual Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan Friendship Association meeting and competition in Quanzhou, China. Deadline for those that would like to attend is 22nd July 2024.
