We are really pleased to be able to pass on the recent achievement of a new KIXX Martial Arts member, Mark (6).
Mark took part in the Royal British Legion 150 mile bike ride to Ypres, Belgium to raise money for ex-services veterans. The organisers were extremely honoured to have Mr Hari Budha Magar start the event. Mr Magar is a veteran of the Royal Gurkha rifles who become the world first double above-the-knee amputee to reach the summit Mount Everest.
The event was a huge success and raised an awesome £40,000.00 for the ex-services veterans.
The Annual Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan Friendship meetings have resumed after the break brought about by the Covid pandemic. The meeting and competition will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from the 8th to the 12th September incl. Grandmaster Hans group will be sending a team to the event that will include members from his clubs in various countries around the World. The team and representatives are as follows:
Nigel Gilham (UK) Team Leader
Tracy Gilham (UK)
Peter Dillon (Southern Ireland)
Martin Nsubuga (Norway)
Paul Buckley (Thailand)
This team will be representing both Grandmaster Han and the Club to reassure the Wuzuquan community that we fully intend to continue with the events and carry on for our Grandmaster.
We would all like to wish them good luck for the competition
