The Fight Club for Saturday on the 28th October did not manage to get into the November Newsletter due to timescales so, here are a few photos from an excellet training day!!! Remember that our weekly Sanshou (full-contact competition training) classes are on Wednesdays from 7 to 8pm.
Many thanks to those that made it and enjoyed a very vigorous sparring session...
We were very pleased to once again be invited by the The Right Honourable Mayor of Maidstone to participate in the Annual Remembrance Day Parade through the town centre. A good number of our club members and friends joined together, looking smart in the club uniform, to make a respectful show of support for the occasion. Following the two minutes silence, most of us adjourned to the cafe for a tea or coffee.
We all like to say big thank you to the Nepalese owners of the Ghumti (translates as 'Corner') Cafe in Union Street for their very kind gesture of opening especially for us on a Sunday morning.
On Sunday the 19th November, a week before the next Chinese Boxing Grading, a number of adults and junior students got together with some extra training. The range of grades was quite wide so it was an ideal opportunity for some revision for some of the higher grades!
A few photos of the day...
The Chinese Boxing Grading and Course held on Saturday the 15th of November and yielded very encouraging results for the students. The course kept everybody on top of their grading requirements whilst some were grading. As soon as the grading had been completed the students returned to the course to continue practice.
